Bangkok

Bangkok is not only the biggest city in Thailand, but also the most mesmerizing, with some of the most beautiful temples and shrines.

Phuket

Phuket is one of the region's economic powerhouses—millions of tourists visit the island every year, enjoying the many delights that are offered in this established resort island. Phuket is a modern, vibrant island with more than 6 million annual visitors, a number that is only increasing year-to-year. If you've never been to Phuket, you will likely love it; returning visitors will find a new island that eagerly greets its next wave of tourism.

Ko Kut

Set 50 kilometres west of the Cambodian border, at 100k2, Ko Kut is the fourth largest island in Thailand’s archipelago. The deserted beaches are clearly the jewels in the crown of the island, but those who want to venture further afield will enjoy getting to know the island by bike, songthaew (traditional Thai pick-up) or longtail boat. If you can peel yourself off from the beach, you could be plunging into the warm waters for some spectacular fish-gazing, hiking up the trio of spectacular waterfalls (and cooling off in the adjacent ponds) or simply exploring the ancient mangrove forests.

Koh Samui

This is the most popular tourist destination on the Western Gulf coast, which isn't surprising, considering Koh Samui's gorgeous beaches, perfect weather, and sparkling blue, almost turquoise, water. The island has seen rapid development since the 1990s, and you'll encounter hotels in all price ranges. Just half the size of Phuket, you could easily drive around it in a day. But Koh Samui is best appreciated by those who take a slower, more casual approach.
